January 2009
The Holidays are behind us and a New Year has begun.Wishing you all the very "Best" in 2009.
Jimmy and I just celebrated our 43RD Anniversary on November 13 TH. He was my high school sweetheart and is still the love of my life. My family is my life, as I have three children and seven grand children. Six boys and One girl.
Our youngest son Jason, 35 just got married for the first time on October 17, 2008 in California where he resides. It was a Fantastic wedding and we had a great time. Our High School friends Al Scarpellini (1961) and his wife Patricia Kelly (1963) came to the wedding with us.
Life is grand and we are looking forward to the winter ending and the camping to begin with our 31 foot travel trailer camper. We plan on going to Niagra Falls, and Lake George this summer.
Things happen in life. I was severely burned over 25%of my body with boiling water six years ago. I had to be air lifted to Stonybrook Hospital Burn Center by Helicopter. I was in the hospital for 17 days and I was very lucky to escape without any scars. Pychologically it did a number on me as the pain was unbelievable. I was very lucky to have my face and body heal as well as it did. I thank God for my blessings.
I tell you this story as Life is precious and we never know what is going to happen from one minute to the next. So, Live life to the fullest, and enjoy every moment of it!
Live Well, Laugh Often and Love Much! God Bless!
Love & Sunshine,
Lori
Life
Jimmy and I have just celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary....Expand for more
Our children, Darlene 39, Jamie 36, and Jason 34, with their spouses, threw us a beautiful memorable anniversary party when we were married 40 years. We have seven grandchildren, Six Boys and One Girl, ranging in age from sixteen to four years old. Life has been "grand" aside from the ups and downs that we all experience.
The Holidays are upon us and our 31 foot camper is in hybernation for the winter. We cannot wait to go camping again this Spring. We started camping in 2003.
We have acquired two new camper friends joining us from our high school days. Patricia Kelly and her husband Al Scarpellini. We have been friends for over forty years and have had a great time traveling together, cooking meals, relaxing around the fire and trying to avoid the Bears!!
I am on a 45 TH High School Reunion committee and our reunion is scheduled for July 12, 2008. It will be held at the Sheraton Hotel, in Smithtown. I hope you have received information from our Reunions of America Planner regarding this event. Six three one, two six six ,one eight three six. We have planned a "Fantastic" night down "Memory Lane" and It will be great to see old friends and classmates and share our lives and Memories. We really hope to see you there.
HAVE A very " MERRY CHRISTMAS", "HAPPY HOLIDAYS", AND THE VERY" BEST" IN THE NEW YEAR!
